You can't afford a probate attorney
The house is the main thing in the estate and there's no cash to pay a lawyer up front. That's exactly who this is for.
Probate cost coverage · New Jersey
When you sell an inherited New Jersey property to Gembrook Properties, we handle the probate from start to finish and can cover the attorney's fees and court costs. Nothing comes out of your pocket — in all 21 counties.
How it works
In most cases, before an inherited New Jersey house can be sold, the estate has to go through probate at the county Surrogate's Court. Most families pay thousands of dollars in attorney's fees and court costs to do that. When you sell the property to Gembrook Properties, we take care of the probate and can cover those costs as part of our purchase. They're paid by us, not taken out of your proceeds.
It works because handling the probate is part of what it costs us to buy the property — the same way the repairs, the cleanout and our resale costs are part of our cost. You never write a check.
